APVSG04-X Multi-Channel Vector Signal Generator

The APVSG04-X is a multi-output ultra-agile fast-switching vector-modulated signal source, covering a continuous frequency range with models ranging from 10 MHz to 4 (optionally to 6) GHz. APVSG-X with 1, 2, 3 or 4 channels is mounted in a 19‘‘ 1U enclosure (426 x 460 x 43 mm [16.8 x 18.1 x 1.7 in], 10 kg). Each output can be programmed independantly in frequency, power, phase and modulation. The outputs are phase-coherent with excellent phase stability.

The standard APVSG04-X enables outstanding ultra-fast CW frequency sweeping, chirping, intra-pulse modulations, frequency hopping, pulse shaping, all with very low phase noise. Per channel, a high performance internal I/Q modulator enables customized modulation waveforms and supports dedicated modulation schemes, including avionics modulation.

The APVSG04-X is a multi-output version of an ultra-fast-switching vector signal generator, covering a continuous frequency range from 10 MHz  to 4 (optionally 6) GHz. The APVSG04-X enables outstanding ultra-fast phase-synchronous frequency sweeps, chirping, intra-pulse modulations, pulse shaping, all with very low phase noise. For each output, a high performance internal I/Q modulator enables independant customized modulation waveforms and supports dedicated modulation schemes. The device can be easily controlled  remotely accessed via Ethernet and USB using standard SCPI command language. A PC based graphical user interface (GUI)  is supplied to control the device and provide a easy-to-use interface for uploading pre-calculated IQ data files. The GUI supports various file formats including a propriatary IQ data file format.
